Not wanting this to sound like the Mail's 'Sarnie Review', but...
I've just pouched one of those splendid Steak Pie/Peas/Gravy combos from Anderson's along Ashgrove Avenue.
First one for yonks, but well worth the wait!

ps - My wife had the ploughman's. bbolt

My local bakers! They also do a Steak Pie/ROASTIES/Peas/Gravy combo too. Haven't had one for years, must put that right soon. Those Steak "Dolls-Eyes" from there are cock-on!

my local aswel i prefer the mince pies like clappp

Balmer's pies were cushty!!!!
There's a little cafe opposite Expanded Metal that does hot meals and stuff wqhich I like, mince dumplings and mash and stuff for about £3, very nice
