I did think it was funny that a few years ago Darlo brought 485 to Pools for a Saturday fixture whilst Southampton brought 200 more than that on a Tuesday night a month before Christmas...

I'd agree there, especially these last few years. As for feeling threatened, the walk from the Rink End to the station after the play off semi was one I'd rather not repeat. The only other place Id rather not be is the Cardiff away end!

Our following that day was shocking, but you didnt even half fill the home end either. Was a piss poor crowd all round that day.

The end of the play-off game at Felchems was comical..possibly the most chicken-shitted lily-livered thing I've ever seen at a football match.

Thousands of Loids ran across the pitch towards the 700 Pools fans, got to within 25-30 yards and promptly...stopped.

I still have the pound coin that hit me on the head that night, occasionally I get it out and have a little rub, just to remind me of what's happened since! And the coin...

I was there. It was a pathetic display from their fans. I could almost feel sorry for them and their predicament now, but then I think back to that and remember that they are a bunch of rarfs!

It's that night that makes me so Anti-Darlo.

Reynolds over the tannoy .."We Don't Want To Be Like 'Artlepools..."

Those yellow-bellied goons on the pitch at the end....

"We'll never play you again....etc"

Angel Delight, Jelly and Ice Cream, Black Forest Gateaux. Just Deserts.

Sahara and Gobi. Just deserts . . .

You need to be talking to Stevenage Borough, and building bridges...

Get busy. :coool:

In concurrence with Mr Costello - I don't think I've ever felt threatened at Darlo either. Most of the pubs normally had a good contingent of Poolies in them and in all honesty at matches in the 00's rare though they have been most Poolies seem to walk around Darlo like they own the place - not me of course and also not sure what this says about Hartlepool fans ether.? Anyway those days are past - Darlo seem doomed...
