Hilarious.

If you could read you'd see that it won't be my last visit, last time was.

Thank god.

How much are your ticket prices btw?

£26 is quite cheap for Elland Road unfortunatly.

I went last season when it was £27 but refused to spend a penny in the ground meaning they lost out financially compared to if they had charged £20. I hope those who decide to go this year do the same.

You didnt need to put that on here TPP, i seen an interview with bates on tv and he was saying they done well that year financially but if only that one fan from hartlepool had bought a hot dog and drink they would have made a profit

As if bates or leeds give a fuck if one fan didnt buy anything or doesnt turn up, 20 thousand others will.

Well at least you only have to pay this once a season for those who decide to go.

Would be fairer on away fans if we had a set price for them, instead we hav cat A,B and C prices, which don't really make much sense.
Stockport, Tranmere and yourself have all been cat A (for some reason) Priced £26 and £31. Had to pay £31 for both Tranmere and Stockport as the £26 tickets go quick.

possibly that in our division we have a decent following away from home in comparison to most teams and bates sees it as a chance to mug us

 . Thanks for your informed response, you fcking div.

It's all about principle, I was just doing my bit to stop them making as much as they'd like to from away fans. If every away fan did the same that entered their ground per season they might revise their disgusting pricing structure. I wasn't trying to finish the club off.

If Tesco screwed you over and you started using ASDA, Tesco wouldn't care but it's nice to know that your hard earned cash isn't going to a bunch of people you abhor.

Suppose having dropped just 4 league points at home sinse January 10th makes it a little easier to hand over the money

What's even more shocking:

Under 16 - £12
Students - No discount
Adults - £26

Terrible, in my opinion for anyone aged between 16 and 21. confised

Every League Club in the Country should have a discount for students/under 21s - it would help attract a lot of people along to watch games generally.

£21.50 on Sunday to watch non league Kettering - £18 on Tuesday night to watch Oldham. They're all at it. Shame if you don't turn up in numbers - we've had some poor turnouts from away fans this year. Novelty's worn off I suppose - our gates are down as you might expect after 3 seasons in Div. 1. In addition to my own ticket I have the wife and 2 daughters with me for the clash of the titans. Hope we manage to put on a show for them between us. Trust you're all in good spirits - as you might imagine we are feeling pretty good just now. Meanest defence in the country in any league I think so it isn't always pretty but it is effective and suits me down to the ground. See you there

But adults are aged 18 and above what,s 21 got to do with it.And cant you be a student if your over 21, so once more what's 21 got to do with it. If your a full time student aged 55 you don't get a discount.

Why under 21 to get a discount, why not over 50, and not over 60. Surely attracting anyone over 50 is just as important as attracting students/under 21's.

That's a I'm a student under 21, paying F*** all in tax getting money off government but I want more statement, absolutely no credence to it what so ever.

Regardless off age if you don't have the spare cash to attend games then you can't attend games. I'm not saying the prices are right, they not, but why do all lazy stay in bed F****** students want more than someone who has contributed to the up keep of the country. If as a student and you can't afford games (or anything else for that matter) , get off your a***, get a job and earn the cash to do so.

I didn't say that only students should get reduced prices. I agree with you about older people as well.

I would go out and get a job to earn cash to go and watch games, but studies actually take up a lot more time than people think. I'm sick to death of people stereotyping all students as lazy spongers all the time.

We aren't all like that you know.

It's bad enough trying to survive on whatever money you're given for the whole of the year, let alone use that to survive and go to the football as well.

Its called learning to live within your means.

Your a student, so you need books, stationary etc, etc. You need to eat, pay bills then you have what is called DISPOSABLE INCOME left over, just like anyone else,(Ok they may not need books etc) but like Chip they probably have a family to keep, their disposable income is then used, same as yours.

Get an evening job, Barman, glass washer waiting on tables, there's jobs out there.

No6bus said the amount of time you spend spouting crap on here you could be working full time, I have to say I totally agree with him as you can't be doing much studying.

The only day this week you not posted during what I will call school times( 0900-1500)

Was FRIDAY

So looking at that your not doing a lot of studying, so your actually stereotyping students yourself by showing you do F*** ALL because you can sit on a pc on a football forum, that not exactly proving the likes of me stereotyping students is wrong. You prove my case.

Because it's one thing, having to work during the day, as well as study full-time. I commend those who have to do it. I couldn't do it - it's bad enough trying to balance any sort of outside life and study, let alone work as well.

Getting a bar job is a good idea - it wasn't for one thing: there are 17,000 students in Canterbury with 2 main universities, who probably have the same idea about getting a job to compliment their living.

Also, being a student is actually much more than just reading of books: there are practical exercises, essays, presentations and tests throughout the year, which also take up a lot more time.

Being a University student isn't a 9-3 or 9-5 job for that matter. There are 24 hours in the day. It's not all that rare for some students to have to burn the midnight oil. They say it is actually supposed to be a full time profession.

But I hate the view that is being taken by more and more people that students are lazy scroungers. We contribute towards society and when my studies finish, it is my intention to find long term employment, so at least, unlike some people that we all too well know about in this country generally, defraud the benfits system by not bothering to find any proper work.

I am doing this to better myself as a person.

At our place we have 15 students who put in a lot of hours after College/Uni etc....so I can't see why you can't get off your arse and get a Job!!!!

Because it's one thing, having to work during the day, as well as study full-time. I commend those who have to do it. I couldn't do it - it's bad enough trying to balance any sort of outside life and study, let alone work as well.

I said they work at our place AFTER College/Uni!!!!

Beat me to it.

POK you have posted 5600 times since July 2007, now July 2007-09 is approx 730 days and July to end November is approx another 120 days so that's 5600 post's in 850 days. That's 7 post's a day (approx). Your digging a hole for yourself.

Give in, because if it was a 15 round boxing match, the referee would have stopped it in round 3.

Take no notice, Kent, I wouldn't.
BTW I know from my own case that, when you work a lot on a computer, you tap into the Bunker now and then for a coffee break. Doesn't mean you're not productively employed. :coool:

Also, also, when I was unemployed I used to get pretty fed up with people saying that there were jobs available and that if you didn't have one you must be a scrounger. Unemployment was running at about a million and a quarter at the time.

Leeds season ticket holders buying additional tickets will only be charged at Cat B prices (£21).

Correct.

Now go and look up the word 'principle' and you might realise why I'm not forking out £26 to go to your hell hole ground to abused for 90 minutes by 20 odd thousand knuckle draggers
