... as I promised I would, but see no prospect at this rate of us doing anything, even for my modest requirements, this season. The season started hopefully for me, but definite symptoms of the 'Scott-Wilson Syndrome' have emerged and I feel as though we've been drffting for four loooooooooooong years.
We really do need a leader off the pitch, a believer, an ego who can empathise with the fans.... they were called managers once. sadx

I agree.
We can call for all the players we like, on loan or otherwise, but somebody has to manage them.
That somebody needs to be able think on his feet, have an ability to recognise when and where changes need to be made and then make them.
We just haven't got that in our current management team.
The latest gem from CT is that for part of the game there were glimpses of how he wants them to play.
For pity's sake, Chris, they should play like you want them to play, or at least try to follow orders, all the time.
You've had nearly a twelve month now, You've had over twenty games this season, you have them every day in training and we're getting through in snatches are we????
For crying out loud.
Go back upstairs, sunshine. Since you left for Wednesday you haven't been able to do it, mate. Stop kidding yourself before you become a complete embarassment.
Three senior players, all signed by you and supposed to be good enough at least for this league, were sat on the bench last night whilst you brought a raw kid on.
banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

Sadly, I find myself concurring fully. Sadly in that I wanted him to succeed.

Last nights substitution was the straw that broke the camels back for me. CT clearly has no faith whatsoever in HIS signings, even though last night was crying out for something different.

Even throwing on Bjornnson would have been better than a kid out of his depth.

Despite playing the best football at home this season in the first half, the second half just showed up the faults....and they include no bench, and no plan B.

I just hope CT realises the problems and at least tries to address them. We desperately need a couple of loan players.

We desperately need a manager, mate. Let him decide what the playing squad needs.

Is this Turner the same Turner we used to have, I feel not. It seems everything is just too comfortable and complacent for my liking and a feeling of treading water is starting to emerge. I have no gripe whatsoever with the bloke and would like to see him succeed, but the whole place has an air of an easy going holiday camp for my liking.
Just in case it's passed the club over, we have a part in this business and it's time to stop taking us for granted, people are being pissed off.

he is reminding me more and more of Bob Moncur - nice bloke and that, but who was the best for HUFC? Sir Cyril or Moncur? The contrast was unbelievable.
Turner is today's version of Moncur, and we need a ruthless twat in who the players will not like, but will respect and wouldn't drop their standards very often - and certainly wouldn't use the excuse of the fact we played against a "big club" as reason alone for losing games like last night's.

Victoria Park Yacht Club...if we hang on, we may win something in the Tall Ships Race, ...or maybe not.

Unfortunately we would do well in the initial stages but fall behind on the turn and the run back to port finishing last.

With our luck, we'd appoint Massey-Ferguson. sadx
