a tip for anyone going away to norwich, is this little gem the coach and horses, they have a brewery on the back of the pub and sell their own real ales recommend CHB, my mate also lives round the corner.

Awesome boozer. Right in the middle of Headingley which I love, full to the brim with student spare and big screens all over the joint for the footy.

It's massive as well and has a huge beer garden which is also wick with the ladies on a nice hot day.

Six real ales, good early doors bar, plenty of beer drinkers so that nothing lies about too long, oversize glasses so you get to drink a pint not a half litre, just a few pence cheaper than anywhere else and only a walk from our house.

One for tomorrow.

Don't have a picture of it.

The Grove Inn in Huddersfield. 10 minute walk from the station, unfortunately in opposite direction to ground. Was there a month ago. 18 Real ales and 10 draught lagers and over 100 different bottled beers. Why can't Hartlepool have a pub like this?

Also if you don't fancy the walk, the station in Huddersfield has two pubs, the Head of Steam and the King's Head. Both better than anything we have in our town.

Great shout. The beer garden's absolutely unreal, though getting in there mid-Otley Run is absolutely impossible...

Talking of my favourite subject, the new pub on the Railway station opens today. Going to try and get down later and give the lad some support. Basic opening hours at first 12-2 and 430pm - 8pm I think.
