Just had a look at our next nine fixtures that close this year off .......starting Saturday with Leyton Orient through to December 28.

Leyton Orient H
Huddersfield Town A
Southampton H
Carlisle United A
Millwall H
Southend United A
Yeovil Town H
Leeds United A
Oldham Athletic H

I can only see us claiming 7 points out of a potential 27.......Beating Leyton Orient..... Draw with Carlisle.......Beating Yeovil Town.

Meaning only 2 victories in 5 in front of our own fans at home before January! and getting 1pt in 4 in front of our die hard's who travel away.

Hope I am wrong but that's how I see it.

What do you bunkerites think?

Leyton Orient H - WIN
Huddersfield Town A - LOSE
Southampton H - LOSE
Carlisle United A - DRAW
Millwall H - DRAW
Southend United A - LOSE
Yeovil Town H - WIN
Leeds United A - LOSE
Oldham Athletic H - WIN

11 Points. Should just be enough to keep us out of the bottom 4.

Out of those fixtures only really Leeds away is daunting, Huddersfield will be tough but with a more solid back four and keeper this season we are more than capable of chipping away at our points total.

We are four unbeaten in the League you know!?

I hope you are right. Three home wins would be great to see.

If we have 31 points by that stage we will be 11th or 12th.

I would settle for 11 points from those games to be honest.

i did this on another board and predicted 12 points. I think realistically we should be looking for between 10-15 points from these games.

I think Leeds apart, theres nothing to fear!
Other than us being shi'ite like, but why should we be thinking we're not going to get owt from these matches??? oh yeah, our managers rubbish.......but still, they are games of football and we can,in theory, beat anyone!! We just got to pick the right teams/players Mr.Turner Sir.........

Orient W
Huddersfield D, but still winnable if we keep our discipline.
Southampton W- never thought I'd say this but winnable.
Carlisle - W
Millwall - D
Southend - W, they aren't up to much
Yeovil W
Leeds - D
Oldham - W

Well done for pointing out we won against orient. To say we will go unbeaten before the end of the year playing them fixtures is very unlikely.

I will go for :

Leyton Orient H - WIN - already happened
Huddersfield Town A - LOSE
Southampton H - LOSE
Carlisle United A - DRAW
Millwall H - DRAW
Southend United A - WIN
Yeovil Town H - WIN
Leeds United A - LOSE
Oldham Athletic H - DRAW

Totalling 12 points - if thats the case then i would be happy with 12 points from the above games and we would be sitting very comfortably in mid table if we were to achieve this! Which considering some of the teams in this division and there budgets/ reputations, if we were to be mid table (say 11th or 12th) at xmas i would take that.
