More Bobbies on the beat!!!! :sweet: :sweet:

How come the only time you see Bobbies walking the streets these days is on a weekend after 10pm and when Pools are at home!!!!

Bring back the bobbies on the beat....and I don't mean these Community Bobbies!!!! :roll:

Aye, we can also base the manifesto on a campaign for people to email / write in with their main concerns and bugbears and that will form the basis of the maifesto.

The main three issues at elections are dog shit, litter and antisocial behaviour.

Roads and pavements come a close second to those above.

You might need to be careful on asking people to write in / email their pet hates as a lot of things can't be seen through to a positive outcome.

Take for instance the ghost ships and how that was hijacked by certain councillors and other high profile people of the town. Regardless of the personal thoughts on this the council are going to get a big bill when able appeal to the government.

I used to spend many Saturday Evening at the swimming pool when I was a young teenager now they don't even have the option. :roll:

The reason why the Baths shuts on a Weekend at 5pm is because in the past there was more staff than customers!!!! confised

On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is used by the Swimming Club and various Learn to Swim Classes and fitness classes!!!! confised

If you try to put a stop to them they will be an uproar especially after Rossmere closing!!!! confised

But like I said at the time....It's like the Mill House pub making the beer free just to get people in!!!!

... the trouble with th 'drinking culture' is alcohol available from every corner shop and a culture of getting bladdered for the sake of it ... kids only imitate their role models.

whats wrong is, if a shop is caught selling to underage customers their lience should disappear at least for five years, and I mean the shop...so they just don't give it to another member of staff.....

a recent item on radio had them saying a dozen shops caught selling yet not one lience withdrawn??????????

Totally agree Mr.Ed!!!! :grin:

It makes me really angry that after getting caught they get a paltry £200 fine!!!! :evil:

But using 14 year olds to catch the shops out is going to stop!!!!
The Lawyers for the defence are going to start asking them to stand in caught so the can question them!!!! :evil:
