National Express have currently got an offer on for £18 train tickets return to London and there are some available for the 9th January. Last one back is 6pm, I'm not sure on the logisitics of getting from Charlton to Kings X in an hour but it's probably possible. Failing that there are trains back the next morning for £9.

Shame we've already booked up for £29. banghead banghead banghead banghead banghead

The offer runs out on the 4th though so get cracking.

That would be the Southern Mrs, as opposed to the Northern Mrs or the Scottish Mrs then?

5 minute walk to the station then 5 stops on the train to london bridge and a 25 minute tube journey to kings cross.

it could be done but i wouldnt fancy your chances.

i havent booked the train back yet, i thought their might be new years deals on. to be honest im considering the last grand central train back on sunday night so i can spend a lazy sunday morning in bed with the mrs.

Kings Cross to London Bridge is nearer 10 minutes so it probably is possible based on that if you left as soon as the game finished.

Does it not get boring lyingnext to an imaginary person all day?

the hike from the underground platform to the national express platform, which if its busy, is probably another 5 minutes.

Out of all the incorrect things you've said on the Bunker, that's up there with the best of them. :coool:

Trains after game are
Charlton 1704h Arrives London Bridge 1720h
1714h Arrives London Bridge 1730h

.........probably just possible, but a gamble.Away end is furthest from station so got all home fans ahead of you.

It's easily possible. Chip just can't move like he used to now he is knocking on 50.

I now live in London Bridge, chip is correct it'll be very tight.

Leave the game 15 minutes early to be sure.

If anyone's going, pop in my pub for a couple (before the game)

My pub's The Wellington at Waterloo (very close to London Bridge), on the Jubilee Line.

Mr Tax knows that there is approx 67 minutes between the end of the game and when the train leaves Kings Cross. Given that it takes 37 minutes from Charlton to Kings Cross it gives plenty of time for the neccesary wait and walk. Chip is just being a drama queen. Again.

Which pub do you own? Would definitely like to pop in there.

We're stopping in Barking. Cos it was cheap, innit.
