Umpired at Park Drive for a couple of the Durham games, a really nice bloke. RIP.

I'm going to get out of bed at 1:11am and hop for a minute, it's what he would have wanted.

The last time he umpired here was when Saggers made his debut for Durham. Ironically he has now retired to become an umpire.

Hope he gets to heaven - the other option would have him standing on one leg for eternity looking at the score '666'.
