I suggest you're wrong.

Why aren't we allowed to laugh at our new local rivals?

They're only a division above us and on a slipperly slope, especially now Hughton is staying on as manager. They'll be in our league in a year or two and darlow will be out of business.

oh fook its my turn

the object of the post was a stadium name for the mags now my suggestion was for a suitable name to go on the outside frontage of the stadium so i had to use grammar suggesting the post from a newcastle supporters perspective.
by the way no i am not
but would like pools to play the mags in a competitive match so i can complete my set having seen us play the smoggies in the sherpa/ldv the mackems in same cup and also fa cup but the geordies are missing

now welcome to the board

Can Ashley actually sell the naming rights of St James park.

It's owned by the Freemen of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

So they may actually have some say in it.

He probably can, and I'm way off the mark, but it's an interesting thought.

I think the Freemen Of Newcastle Upon Tyne own the land on which the stadium is built, or some such thing.

Smoggies was Football League Cup (Littlewoods Cup I think at the time). It was the only time I had ever visited Ayresome Park.
