i dont think anyone of up wants an average team. We want one that is better than last season and personally i think we have got one.

There is an interview with turner in the mail and he basically says that this squad is merely the foundations of a new era, not the finished article. He says he hopes for a top half finish and them build on what we have in place. He realises we are still lacking in a couple of areas and will sort it, possibly this season, if not then in the summer. patience is the key people.

I dont make him average at all. MrB reckons he has played well in 2 games, average in 2 and poor in 2. I havent seen him play particularly well in any games. He has looked poor in the games I have seen apart from one game where I though he was 'so-so'.

Like MrB says, we have few options right now but I would hate to think we will be stuck with Ritchie there for the remainder of the season.

completely agree. And as we are 10th i think we can all agree we have had a decent start to the season. We are well positioned with some winnable games coming up. I cant see us finishing lower than 12th overall.

Which i would be more than happy with

I am neither a humphreys lover or hater. I just happen to think that some people go way over the top when talking about him. And when they do i will defend him if need be.

Whats the problem with wanting to improve a team which is clearly far from perfect? If we'd won 10 on the bounce then I'd agree with you but we've won 2 and one of them wasn't very convincing by all accounts.

I am very happy with 10th in the table but I want us to finish as high as we possibly can and if there are improvements to be made then we should fcking well make them.
