The 'Grandad' in question looks about 32, and has clearly borrowed a flasher mac and a flat cap, oh and some bugger's penny-rounders to make him look 'aged.'

The anecdotes are mind-numbingly banal, and usually conclude with something like;

'Eeeeh our Abby, she's a right little gunt' or somesuch.

I think both this, and the ever-informative Sarnie report, are two of the reasons I refuse to buy the Mail anymore. Have they phug all better to do???

I WAS having a Saturday afternoon slumber in my armchair.

It was one of those deep sleeps which seems delicious at the time – until it's broken.

Suddenly, from the depths of my dreams, came the squeaky cry "HIYA!!!!!!!!!" loud and clear.

I was awake. Wide awake. I looked around to find the offender.
There was no one to be seen.

I fell back into the armchair and was ready to nod off again.
