They beat Albania 2-0, but they finish 3rd and fail to qualify for a play-off place as Portugal thrashed Malta 4-0.

All I meant to say was that Swedish fans will be upset because they are expected to qualify for major tournaments.

FFS. I didn't know myself and I agree with the lad - it'll be weird not to have Sweden in. Would've preferred if the Portuguese went out though...

Only reason that I am not happy about Sweden getting in, they have some fantastic bewers in the crowd when the team is playing
