You could pick 11 supporters from the ground to play on Saturday. They won't win anything but you can't knock their effort and committment.

PS at home the side has a DUTY to ENTERTAIN the supporters - we aren't getting results anyweay at home so the style of play should revert to what we know we can do or else he should F-UCK OFF

The problem is people in the Town aren't willing to part with £20 to watch 'effort and commitment' are they?

with the current dreadful "fayre" being served up there will be 2,300 odd crowds by the end of the season... even the ST holders will give it a miss....and I will be one of them. I don't go to watch that sh-ite on Friday...or against Wycombe...and Norwich etc...when the players ARE capable of so much better.

only Turner wanted Turner to take over, that's for certain.
We missed out on Ronnie Moore in the summer - an excellent manager in the bottom 2 divisions

If Turner does go back upstairs, I wouldn't be surprised if someone already at the club got the job.

On the other hand.

I don't know how far fetched this is BUT a little birdie told me that if the new owners of the magpies, whoever they turn out to be, don't ask Shearer to be manager.................then Mr Shearer is earmarked for Pools.

and before anyone casts any aspersions on whether or not Shearer could cut it as a boss at Pools....all I can say is..... look at the current incumbent!!!

The way i always see it is that because Turner has never officially been annouced as manager that if the situation arose such as what is happening now (ie utter shite and needing a change) then its easier just to move him back upstairs and hire a manager without sacking him as such.

Cant see the Shearer thing happening to be honest.

Jeez, it was only a matter of days ago you were all lining up to have Turner's love child. So much for getting behind the team.

I don't normally sit on the fence but I will think about the Turner situation at the end of the month. I think some of the reactions may be slightly ott but the ott-ness (is that a word Snowy?) stems from people being unhappy with him being in charge in the first place....
