Is next Saturday at the Cricket Club. The Young Uns (from the Pot House) are guesting. You need to get there early if you want seats.

A-Do I have to pay to get in?

B-Has there been many incidents of tooth related injuries there recently?

C-Will there be any opportunities to impress people with my knowledge of new words, for example "curmudgeon"?

D-Its always good to have a D, makes one look expansive.

Yossarian, please, I was hoping for a quiet afternoon, not to be bombarded with questions!!
However,
1. I think you probably do have to pay but am not sure how much. Will find out tomorrow when I ring up.
2. I think B. and C. are probably related so I'd be careful if I were you.
3. Yes, it's cool to have a D. at your disposal. :coool:

Apparently there's not much point turning up unless you've booked a ticket first.
It's 01740 621347.

It's this one, Salty.
As well as the John Wrightson band (residents), they've got the Young Uns, Jack Burness, Judith Haswell and Trish Mclean. (I've never seen/heard of the last 3).

Did you go to the Pot House the other night, btw?

ah balls! we're gigging it in York on Saturday - say hello to the young uns for us though, they are brilliant them!
I never went to their club last week - baby sitting problemo's.....but I'm hoping to make next weeks!

I know Judith Haswell, kinda soppy singer. Not my cuppa, although quite good at what she does.
John Wrightson was at that open mic thing I went to in the Burn the other week, again he's good but not my thang man!

Well, I'd check first before you go through to the 'Pool, cos last time I went the Young Uns weren't on...they're often away now on gigs. Still had a good night, but I was disappointed a bit.

And, yer, John Wrightson is a bit of a mixed bag, song wise. He hovers between folk/country and I'm not keen on country myself. I like his voice though, whatever.
