 Post subject: Blaming us again......

"All I ask is that the fans vent their frustrations at me and not the players - and do it after the game because that does affect the confidence of the players."

This is now wearing thin as well, I thought the crowd did try to back the players last night. When we got forward a couple of times of late on people really tried to get behind the team. But when you are watching us play some of the worst football I've seen for years it's really hard not to be frustrated. It's as if he's saying we have been cack at home because the crowd are too criticle which is utter nonsense. We all turn up to get behind the team, we all turn up and want the lads to win, we all want every single one of the players to do really well. What are you meant to do when you are watching that?

Turner doesn't want him to come see him to have a go, he is offering the person, who is obviously pissed off, a chance to speak to each other like adults, which is a very commendable thing if you ask me.

Just seems very petty to be honest. Happening everywhere in football now, seem to think fans have to sit and just clap all game

He is offering the bloke a chance to sit down and discuss it like adults, how the fuck is that petty

I'm pretty sure I know the bloke who he is talking about (he'll be known to many on here) and I know for a fact that aforementioned person would take Turner up on that.

my point is.....how many managers would invite you into his office to speak openly and passionately about where he and his team may be going wrong?

And you get morons from Sunderland coming on calling that petty sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

I have a lot of respect for Chris Turner and I really want him to do well becaused he speaks openly and passionately about a club he clearly cares for but is that good enough? He can be as open, honest, and as passionate as he likes the bottom line is none of us want to watch football like last night. He can surely understand that? We are watching far worse football then we were at this time last year and it hasn't got us any further in terms of points and league position.

no thats not enough i completely agree. After the Walsall match i thought we would kick on, but have obviously done the opposite. Turner desperately needs to get it right soon.

I thought it was me! But never believed it was actually Tubby.

I wish he would sort our friggin team out or fuck off rather than spending time inviting fans to his office. ffs your a football manager, you know your going to take abuse when you go into the profession. We will have queues at his office door like a school headmasters door soon if things carry on how they are because were UTTER SHITE at the moment and its Turners fault.

I have just watched his interview on poolsplayer and it is embarassing.
Like Tree says I am not interested in his PR....I am interested in how his teams play.
