Post IOR games I have seen at the Vic tonight. Actually the worst, depressing rubbish.

Total and utter rubbish, I'd rather watch us lose and play some football than long ball rubbish.

No wonder people aren't prepared to part with £20 to watch it.

I've rarely been as deflated as a Poolie, yes we used to be shite but now everything is in place to suggest we should be better.

Looking on the bright side it was a clean Sheet though.

wasnt there, so excuse my question - could the dreadful to watch, unsuccessful long ball game have been due to the conditions? or were they not that bad?

The rain was heavy at times but I think the players could have got it on the deck had they wanted to. The pitch is fantastic. We seem to be resorting to the long ball game a lot of late and the conditions are sometimes ideal for football.

I have said my piece on my opinion of the tactical ineptness of the current management team, so I am not going to repeat any of that again.
The only thing left for me to say is that last night's match was DEFINITELY one of the worst I have seen at the Vic for a long long time.
The ball spent that much time in the air that I can only conclude that the game was sponsored by the RAF.

It was a game played between the COULDN'T and the WOULDN'T.

Unless drastic changes are made in the immediate future then gates at the VIC are going into the realms of embarassment, if they aren't there already.

It is very Windy....so as a Manager what would you do???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

You've got a Team that can play the ball on the deck in 'Mild' conditions!!!! :coool:

No....It's 'Very Windy'....HOOF the Kunt!!!! banghead banghead banghead

Even if he never told them to do that....why didn't he stop it???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

Where I was sat....everyone was saying the same thing....it's that obvious....

'Play the ball on the deck....it's easier....especially in this Weather....but we've also got the players that can do it'!!!! confised confised confised

So why is it only US that can see that???? sctatchinghead confised
