It's been a while since I've posted on here so I thought I'd share with you a strange experience last Saturday. You see, I was heading back to Leeds and I was bored so me and my brother decided to stop off at the Reynolds Arena on the way to the station before I got on my train.

Yeah, we sat with Macclesfield fans and started a couple of chants. The game was fucking terrible. Still, I thought I'd give Darlo their dues - I wrote 1,500 words on the state of the club.

You went to the match, you write extensive articles about their club .... do you wear a Darlo shirt in the privacy of your bedroom...you can tell me, I'm a psychiatrist.

I could've probably got one and a good few more plastic bottles of Carling and it would've been cheaper than the away leg to Exeter.

If I wore one, I think I'd melt. They probably can't afford to make replicas, anyway.

It is indeed my first trip Elvis, it's absolutely awful... no such thing as upkeep. It's just desolate and whichever fan it is who bangs that drum (he used to post on forums, I think... I forget) really wasn't doing the atmosphere any favours at all!

The goal was a joke too. I genuinely mean it when I say it's one of the worst games I've seen!

It's good to get some lower league coverage in though, it's always easy to write things you're passionate about
