Don't want to p*ss on your chips Mouldy, but Louis Braille would have only been about 9 months old 200 years ago. He did of course invent, or rather improve on an idea given to him by a Captain in the French Army, who was visiting the National Institute for the Blind in Paris, where Louis was a student. Remarkable really, because he was only 12 at the time!
