It's difficult not to get a warm proud feeling when the Manager of one of your divisional rivals (Mansfield) makes quotes like ' We need to get some of the consistancy that top clubs like Hartlepool have developed" or as in the Daily Mail today the write up states "A superb 55th minute strike by Anthony Sweeney earned super consistant Hartlepool their 10th win in 11 games to close in on promotion.

These are great days bro's, we are jolly green giants walking the Earth - with guns!

Paul Sturrock also seems to have joined the fan club:

"Promoted teams keep grinding out results and that is what we have to do. There are 19 games to go. I wish there was one game to go because there is a real edge to this division - Hartlepool are on a great run."
