Nobody said that all they said if that in the opinion of the board's moderators you're talking 5hite they have the right stop you (or any other thread they so wish).

I personally think they should just delete the offending matierial as it stops it in its track as leaving just locked leaves it in manner where it is still accessable and readable therefore negating the point of locking it (although it does enable everyone else to understand why it has been locked and make their own judgement ).

It is a moderator's job to can as judge jury and executioner and he can do so anytime he wishes, it his remit.

As Mr Salty has said we don't want this board turning out how Rivals ended up, and for that reason I deemed the thread juvenile and locked it. If I or any of the other moderators deem other threads to be in that vein or worthy of locking or deleting for any other reason we'll do it. There are a whole host of reasons for locking threads, this was just one of them. You're entitled to disagree with that as is anybody else but if I ever lock or delete a thread I'll explain why like I did on this occasion as it seems the fair way to go.
