I've just counted about 12 threads about Darlo on the front page of this messagboard alone (admittedly not all by OO)!

It's truly pathetic. Hating Darlo is not supporting Pools.

I don't mind the odd darlo post.

But i ignore most on here, i find the obsession with them failing pretty boring to be honest.

I'd ban obamfemi off there board, he appears the type to always be on the wind up, wanting to get a bite.

Yes, there's a dislike in a rivals context, but that's not what I see from some on here. I see something which is bordering rabid obsession.

I've experienced rivalry banter in the workplace, but some stuff on here makes me feel uncomfortable. They're just the same as us. There's schadenfreude, and then there's what you can get in here.

I agree that SOME of them are just the same as us, but I'm afraid as a TOWN Darlington is most certainly NOT the same as Hartlepool.

I'm sorry, but Hartlepool United fans would NOT have let what's happened at Darlo happen here.

The Darlo fans I’ve come across are no different to us.

I don’t know what you think Darlo fans could have done differently or what we’d have done differently in their position but, it’s not that long away we were in a similar position to them with similar crowds after we followed an owner who ultimately cost the club in the end after a few seasons of success. I honestly can’t see the difference. Even we have had a Tory MP!
