Well done EAD. A great driving instrumental in the Tornados / Joe Meek mould - neither of which had anything at all to do with it. By then instrumentals were losing their popularity to the new Mersey beat sound.

Must be pretty obscure, but I guess if anyone would have it - it would be you. clappp

Aye that's it Mr BP - great to hear it again after a long while - I still like it as well.

Re the modern version of classics, a particular passion of mine, The Tornados did ‘Pop Art goes Mozart’. Then there were B. Bumble and the Stingers with ‘Nut Rocker’, ‘Apple Knocker’ and ‘Dawn Cracker’.
Keith Emerson with the Nice and then ELP also did their fair share, Rondo – the Nice version with Davy O’List on guitar is still in my top 10 (which contains over 300 numbers by now and changes on a daily basis). Also like the Brandenburg Concerto and the Intermezzo from the Karelia Suite both by the Nice.
Friends of mine used to be in a band called Mandrake, they used to do Rondo and an amazing version of Bizet’s Carmen. Other friends were in a band called Bramstoker and they did an original version of Wagner’s Ride of the Vulcaries.

Oh what happy days they were and the sun always shone.

Me too and a lot more of us I'm sure.

I always liked the straight to the point 'Too Drunk To F uck,' by the Dead Kennedy's.

No room for doubt there.

You could go through the whole Half Man Half Biscuit repertoire and come up with winners. One of my favourites being ‘Joy Division Oven Gloves’.
