We really should be getting a result at places like exeter, we have a very strong squad and I still feel we are not playing to the capabilities of the quality we have.
Conceding 5 goals in 2 away games is very disappointing!!!!

Exeter are decent side who are in League One on merit. Just because they've just come up it doesn't give us the divine to think we should be beating them. I'm sure loads of teams think they should be getting results at 'places like' the Vic.

Correct me if i'm wrong but they were bottom six before they played us? We have a very strong squad, in fact probably the best squad we have ever had, no disrespect but we really need to be getting results at places like exeter.

And we were bottom 6 last season, so why do you think we should beat them????

And we don't have a very strong squad at all sctatchinghead Just because we have a largish squad doesn't mean its strong.

got a feeling that results like this are going to happen all season. Win at home, draw away expectancy rises get beat.
Lack of consistency, as CT says thats why these players are playing in league one and not the premiership, we will just have to get use to days like this banghead

they deffo had the luck in the box yesterday - if Flinders excellent save prior to their first goal had gone just a bit further, it wouldn't have hit the post and would gone out for a corner instead - and I believe we would have gone in 1-0 up at half time with something to build on for the second half. They got the luck when it mattered in that instance.
We hit the bar at 2-1 down and they scrambled it away - as they subsequently did for about another 3 or 4 really gilt edged chances - most notably Behan's flicked header from 4 yards and Larkin's one v one with the keeper.

Mr Parmo is spot, if we had gone in at 1 nil up I reckon we could have gone on to get a hat full. What was disappointing was that we couldn't see to cope when we were handed the goal head start, it was like the players didn't know how to handle the lead.

We cruised through the first half without creating anything, nor did we look like conceding and yet the H/T score was 1-1 sctatchinghead and if you can understand that logic maybe you know why we managed to lose a game that should have been 3 easy points. To sum it up, typical pools IMO unfortunately banghead

Must add, I guess we were unfortunate to lose 2 potentially key players at H/T even though neither did much in the first half.

Didnt look like conceeding were you watching the same game as me?

Before we scored there attacker missed a header at the back post which was harder to miss than score.

Collins had to do a brilliant defensive header to clear the danger as their attacker should of scored.

Also a brilliant save from flinders onto the post and followed up to score. We were lucky only to conceed 1 in the first half.

Lightenin tree is right we should be beating teams like Exeter.

I wasn't there but from what i have seen and heard maybe Mcsweeney should be playing the away games, as he covers a lot of ground and makes things very difficult for the opposston...
