Mick Gannon just texted me to say: "Martin Allen was brilliant afterwards, he said his team was bullied for the first time this season." stupid rolfl

What he meant was that he found a team who stood up to his side's physical presence and got right stuck into them.
A great compliment considering we used to be soft and had Boland and Clarkie missing.
Plus we were the better footballing side.

Something my Old Man told me when I was an ankle biter:

'There's only one way to deal with a bully. Plant the bastard!!'

Some things never change.

And again you have to give Danny Wilson some credit for that. Not only did he use his good knowledge of the donkeys to our best advantage, he also outpsyched Martin Allen. He knew most of the team wouldn't need much firing up after the previous "beatings" they'd taken from Allen's men and he found the key to unlock their ire!
