The former Pools youth team player comes home from 4 months in Sweden next week. He banged in 13 goals in 12 games for Ope IF in the Swedish 4th Division and has been training with a 1st Division side ahead of next season. Good to see him doing well!

It's good to see a young lad looking at pastures new in pursuit of a playing career. It could have been very easy to stay in Hartlepool and play Northern League. Hope something comes out of it for him.

I think I only saw Ellison once for the reserves and he was excellent, it was a game at Billingham and I think we won 4-0 at the start of last season. Hope the lad does well and pleased he is putting in an account of himself.

The american league may not be up to a good standard but i think it would be a great experince to go over there and play college football/s0ccer, there facilities and pitches will be top notch.

I think it's great how they have drafts every years too, the worst teams get the pick of the new players coming through, it makes sense!!
