It might be a good idea to take Healy on loan, till say Xmas.

I agree, Chip.
The decision must be taken if it's " for the greater good of the club" so to speak.
As it's only for a few months or so, I suppose I would jump on the let's take a chance option.
At least we will have an idea whether he can do a job for us. It's better than a two or three year contract, especially if he or us decided that we weren't suited I suppose.
