Remember it very well. I'm not a huge boxing fan but Benn's fights were shown on ITV on a saturday night and I remember it being shown in the pub and before sky box office dominance of big fights.

Really brutal, just like the Watson/Eubank fight.

Great fight, McClellan was one of the best pound for pound boxers in the world.
Benn survived an early onlslaught before brutally pummeling the G-man into submission.

was in tenerife in feb 1996 and benn and bruno were there training for title fights
went to see them training and bruno was an arrogant arsehole couldnt get out of the gym quick enough
benn on the other hand was brilliant, after training he waited until everybody who wanted to had their photo taken in the ring with him and was a top bloke
shame he lost his title shortly after to mallinga at the arena newcastle
