If we 'needed' that win old chuff, Darlo will soon be 'needing' the last fooking rites!

Will you still pretend to follow them in the Conference? rolfl

Remember, Darlo will soon rank alongside such great ex-league luminaries as Workington and Bradford Park Avenue. Enjoy! x

I seem to remember Darlo fans laughing their socks off a few seasons ago when Pools kept missing penalties.....

In all seriousness Mr Costello can't be far wrong, every game must look like a tough one at the moment for them. if their crowds drop below 2000 then the new owner will probably struggle to pay the overheads.administration again ? It could be a long winter for the Darlo fans, if at all possible they should cut their losses and try and get back to Feethams asap, it is the only thing that could galvanise that club....

Although it looks like plans to build there have been around for a while.

"Darlington were now established, although Feethams wasn't secure because in 1894 the Pease family wanted to build houses over the riverside meadow.

They'd planned them out: there was Abbeyville Terrace, Rose Bank Place, Myrtle Grove, Meadow Street and, best of all, Daisy Dell. Running perpendicular to them, beside the Skerne, was River Parade. "

The author of that article would probably enjoy taking part in one of our 'puns' threads.

"The star of that Cup run was the local dentist RG Brebner filling in between the sticks. He was the only amateur in the team and he crowned his heroics by moving on to Chelsea. He represented England in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics but the following season was so badly injured playing for Leicester Fosse that he died."

The first team played a training game there last week. The weeds won 1-0, And the Weed Goalkeeper saved a penalty.

You mean we actually got the penalty on target? By the way that picture is as old as the hills, all thats left is the back of the tin shed.

As things stand, it looks like the perfect place for them to pitch their caravans, sell some clothes pegs and lucky heather, just before they twirl some waltzers and vanish up their own wassholes.

Always clinging onto something, aren't we Sussex? I thought you'd be pretty scarred after that worm holocaust that your shitehawk of a groundsman carried out at that puddle of a pitch.

Not that it matters, anyway. You'll be sharing with the RA soon enough. Not that you'll go anyway. You'll be on here. Talking bollocks.

Milton Keynes get about 7,000 in at home games. Darlo get about 2,000. The difference in revenue is...........go on, you're a student...........see if you can work it out without going to your 'Maths Counsellor.'

When we play in our large council house, it's usually against, say, West Brom, Stoke, West Ham, Leeds, Charlton, Norwich this week, Leicester, Notts Forest, Burnley tonight, I could go on.

Who've you got next in your big shiny stadium??
