I bet it included Ingram, that big stoper who I think used to play for Crewe or even Russell Bradley, Beech, Ainsley, Howard, Halliday and definitely Southall!

Some people on the board need to be aware no matter how much we find the going hard in this division we are light years away from the luminaries you emntion at the start of the thread.

ref must have been incredibly over zealous. he managed to send skeddy off.

probably for a handball or time wasting.

no he and adrian heath had a little spat near the mill house stand, two midgets scrapping

Remember this game with admiration for the REF 'Keith Hackett' when Skeddy & Heath started with handbags ,players from both sides were going to pull them apart when 'Hackett stoped them and let them fight it out, when both had tired themselves out he just pointed to the tunnel . refred refred
This was when refs were refs and not 'nimby pamby' as they are now.

I also recall at the time of Heath leaving the pitch 'Skylark' shouted Heath your finished and a section of the croud on the Mill House side waved goodbye to him, only for him to turn round and start counting the crowd which was quite funny

Skedd's now a physiotherapist - don't know about you but I wouldn't like him to lay a finger on me.
