What a good night.

Backed Behan for 1st goal, though made mistake of offering my mate halves, due to him betting Behan every game so far but not doing him tonight, so ended up with £17:50 for £2:50.

Won golden goal ,3 of us sharing it another £18, I bought extra ticket

Got a treble up on 3 aways Charlton to beat Orient..WBA to beat the Posh, Leeds to beat Walsall paid £20:86 for £2

So £56:36 back for £5:50

Would give it all up for 3 points

I wish I had backed Behan after tipping Fetish Bob off about the scandalous odds bet365 were offering. 13/2 for home teams main striker between two evenly matched teams is very generous. It should have been nearer 4/1 in my opinion.

Not many away games take my fancy this season, quite like the look of Exeter, Norwich, Southampton and Brentford. Otherwise I'll be saving my cash.

I'm most looking forward to Southampton, Bristol and Exeter. I'm going to bin a few of the south-east ones starting with Gillingham (one of my least favourite away days anyway, and we invariably lose). The division is just too southern this season to do them all. I'll still do all the south west and most of the north.

I'd like it if everyone boycotted Brighton, they shouldn't be allowed in the league with that away end and those prices. Colchester is another dump with expensive prices, no pub and another 600 mile round trip. I enjoyed Yeovil last season because it was one of the best away games in recent memory but it hardly seems exciting to go there again.

the problem with the southern games is that they take up a huge chunk of your weekends. yeovil last season we set off at daft o clock, got back about midnight, and you end up spending most of the day sat uncomfortable staring at motorway.

the london games i dont mind as i tend to stay over on the saturday night and go out, so the weekend doesnt just resolve around watching pools get beat.

brighton and exeter and yeovil are grounds id happily never ever go to again.

I quite like Exeter. Decent little town, friendly fans and their ground is tidy. Shame it's bastard miles away though.

okay, southend then.

I don't mind it there in all honesty either. Away end is one of the best for making noise.

Plus it was a decent night out.

Next.

Hate it. Rubbish place. Typical new bastard ground.

Won't be attending. Inform the press.

You're right. Dump probably wasn't the right word. I used to hate Layer Road but I'd much sooner go back there than their new place.

some places are cracking days out/ nights away, London is always a good one on the train - I love my days out there and if the Grand Central gets a later train back I'm deffo on it!!!!
Sadly the days of traditional ground locations in town centres near plenty of pubs have long gone in some places.
The best days out are places like Crewe - train station round the corner and plenty of pubs to choose from, plus the option of a drink in somewhere like Manchester. All away days should be like that!!!!

Ah, I enjoyed the trips to Layer Road and having to stand in the Queen Boudicca Stand...so-called because you can tell just by looking at that it was probably built when Queen Boudicca was riding round Colchester on her chariot!

We get older by the day.

Crewe's ground is a short walk away from the high street and good for access to local pubs well set up for footy games. Last game at Crewe the Poolie flag had been hoisted outside one of the pubs and a few drinks taken before a five minute walk to the ground.

Stockport's much the same, about 100 yards from the Old High Street. Problem is the pitch is a shitty morass.
