Got a treble up on 3 aways Charlton to beat Orient..WBA to beat the Posh, Leeds to beat Walsall paid £20:86 for £2

So £56:36 back for £5:50

I wish I had backed Behan after tipping Fetish Bob off about the scandalous odds bet365 were offering. 13/2 for home teams main striker between two evenly matched teams is very generous. It should have been nearer 4/1 in my opinion.

Not many away games take my fancy this season, quite like the look of Exeter, Norwich, Southampton and Brentford. Otherwise I'll be saving my cash.

I'd like it if everyone boycotted Brighton, they shouldn't be allowed in the league with that away end and those prices. Colchester is another dump with expensive prices, no pub and another 600 mile round trip. I enjoyed Yeovil last season because it was one of the best away games in recent memory but it hardly seems exciting to go there again.

I quite like Exeter. Decent little town, friendly fans and their ground is tidy. Shame it's bastard miles away though.

I don't mind it there in all honesty either. Away end is one of the best for making noise.

Plus it was a decent night out.

You're right. Dump probably wasn't the right word. I used to hate Layer Road but I'd much sooner go back there than their new place.

some places are cracking days out/ nights away, London is always a good one on the train - I love my days out there and if the Grand Central gets a later train back I'm deffo on it!!!!
Sadly the days of traditional ground locations in town centres near plenty of pubs have long gone in some places.
The best days out are places like Crewe - train station round the corner and plenty of pubs to choose from, plus the option of a drink in somewhere like Manchester. All away days should be like that!!!!

Ah, I enjoyed the trips to Layer Road and having to stand in the Queen Boudicca Stand...so-called because you can tell just by looking at that it was probably built when Queen Boudicca was riding round Colchester on her chariot!

We get older by the day.

Crewe's ground is a short walk away from the high street and good for access to local pubs well set up for footy games. Last game at Crewe the Poolie flag had been hoisted outside one of the pubs and a few drinks taken before a five minute walk to the ground.

Stockport's much the same, about 100 yards from the Old High Street. Problem is the pitch is a shitty morass.
