Good luck to them for fooks sake.
Most of their current fans will be like most of ours, never seen any form of success.
They may only get this for 5 years, then it could go tits up for them and they'll be back down with Darlo (if they still exist in 5 years).

He's lined up to replace Steven Taylor - who is likely to leave even though he won't put in a transfer request and would rather wait and see if Shearer gets the job sometime this season. That's Taylor, one of the very few players who actually supports and gives a fuck about the club.....football eh?

Apparently Shearer has been on the phone to Taylor asking him not to leave, don't know how true it is though

You'd be daft to put in a transfer request as you forfeit a lot of money..... Could really do with the smoggies and skunks losing tomorrow though and more importantly Pools to win - the boro's and geordies are getting a bit too cocky for my liking. banghead

Is that the first instance of a dog walker actually providing evidence of a 'sighting!?'

I must admit I never pass the Staincliffe without my camera, just in case.

Just imagine if they got promoted....unbearable when things are going bad and insufferable when things go right

Thats the problem with the mags and boro. I dont know if I would prefer them to be doing well in the championship or struggling in the premier league. Either way I cant bear them. I didnt expect them to do so well in the Championship as they are banghead

In an ideal world, they'd be battling it out in the Coference for the relegation places ...and the borers would still get top spot on Radio Tees and Newcatle would still be pouting all over local TV and the Sunday Sun.
