The lad who played at Garforth then eh. Apparently highly rated at Brandon. Welcome to Hartlepool United.

From Vital board ................''He played for Hartlepool in a pre-season friendly with our permission, and he did well enough for Chris Turner to offer him a contract, although they have to readjust the size of their first team squad. We don`t know what they are going to propose''

This sounds like there will be someone going the opposite way? As Leicester pooly says, bye bye baby David?

bye bye Baby David - no great loss at the moment IMO. He hasnt come on as much as I thought he would (excluding that wonder goal in the cup last year). Might prosper out on loan for 6 months.
I remember when Cooper gave him his debut and thought 'my God, he looks about twelve!'

Foley is also older!

We have obviously signed him for his potential. Maybe after a couple of year at a Pro club he might just improve a tad sctatchinghead
