at the risk of repeating meself on another post, I was impressed with him as well. Strong, good in air & able to hold up the ball & also run at the defence. Must drink plenty of Guinness.

i thought he defended well from the front, did not give the defenders time on the ball at all in the 1s half, against lesser teams i think he'll cause big problems

very impressive with a good work rate , the way he had been described in the mail he was big target man but to me he seems very diffwerent to that

I don't know what you equate with genuine pace but Brown can be frightening with it. It's what you do with it, not how quick you are. Foley also has genuine pace but I wouldn't like to see him leading our forward line.
