I've been contacted by someone writing a guide to all the grounds in the UK.

Given that I've only been watching Pools for the last 25 years or so, do any of the older members want to assist with answers to the following?

Greatest moment on this ground/at home and why

Lowest moment on this ground/at home and why

Heroes of the turf: (top 5 legends and why)

Zeroes of the turf: (three or four underachievers who failed to live up to the hype)

Heroes of the sideline: (top 2 or 3 managers or coaches and why)

That’s quite interesting: (a couple of lines about a player or the club etc that are "quite interesting")

Don’t mention the: (something embarrassing or amusing - running to a couple of lines)

Villains: (unpopular players or those who left under a cloud – again serious or humorous)

Not a lot of people know that: (a piece of obscure trivia)

Mike Fagan got his contract because his father was a farmer (in Northumberland), same as the Pools chairman Vince Barker. He certainly didn't get it on football ability though.
