Had one the other day....disaster.

Complaints:
1. The tube is now plastic and not paper .
2. It has a twist off lid.
3. The liquorice is loose fitting and smaller.
4. There is no soggy bits to chew on (wrapper).
5. You have to bang the tube to free last bit of sherbet.
6. It's just not the same !

Shocking !

Thats rubbish however I have never eaten one since I was about 9 as one nearly killed me.
I was on holiday in Yarmouth with the family and Mam bought me a sherbet fountain. Now kids being kids I tried to eat it to quickly and tried to get as much in my mouth a possible and tipped up the carton into my mouth. Now being a child I didnt realise that it would all dislodge and come rushing down my throat blocking all my mouth and lungs. Thats when the panic set in as I couldnt breath with foamy sherbet coming out of my nose mouth etc.

Every time I look at one it scares me.

Bubble gum/football cards....like most little boys I had loads which were taken to school in a bulging pocket. Recall you had to rub a coin over the back of some cards to reveal a fact about the player.

The other day I spotted Monster Munch in the same bag as they used to be like 15 years ago and to boot, they were the same size as they used to be too! clappp Roast Beef-lush. A welcome return instead of the shitty little things they had turned into.

I also had ice cream flavour chewits which iv never seen for ages and they were rather nice too.

There are two "old sweet shops" that I know of , one in York and another in Leicester and both sell sweets out of JARS . Black bullets, cherry lips, army/navy tablets and the like. If you ask nicely the lady in Leicester will climb up a ladder to reach a top jar while you pinch the Jamaican rum choc bars !

i seen this plastic sherbert thing in the shop yesterday, not a fan of it.

Prefer the old skool type, nothing better than chewing on some sherbert cardboard.
