Beckford scores in the 88th minute to give them a 2-1 win against Exeter.
How often will they scored after 85 mins this season then?

We just won on the opening day.

Were all over them for long periods and could have won a lot more easily.

Exeter fans invaded the pitch when they brought it back to 1-1

Don't really score loadsa late goals, I'm sure the only 1 last season was against you in the Carling cup, nowt wrong with playing for the full 90 mins :)
They were well up for it, but we could have scored a lot more, they only scored from a good free kick.

Glad to hear we are playing a full strength team against darlington on Monday

the game lasts at least 90 mins folks, as much as we don't like it, they take advantage and fair play to them!

Well you would expect "BIG CLUB LEEDS WHO SHOULD BE IN PREMIERSHIP" to beat little Exeter who not long ago where playing conference football.

Its not much to boast about when they had 10 men and still managed to score with 10 men against the so called MIGHTY WHITES!!

to me it means Leeds are insignificant to Man United fans so why would it bother them about Leeds hating them? Man U's rivals are Liverpool and Man City.

But yes you can still hate D*rl* - who am I to say that u can't?

Leeds Utd would outnumber most teams in League Two if they had chance, as well as a few in League One.

He is basically saying just about every other lower league club would have barely mustered 2,000 home supporters for a game against Leeds.

Given the background and what the Loids have been through that turnout is unbelievably bad, it appears rather than rallying behind the new regime the people of Darlington have simply stopped bothering.

Considering the game was on Sky, it's nothing to worry about. Many floaters will have stopped in to watch it on the box.

Because if they were at home they'd only muster about 10,000, it's the first round of the Carling Cup FFS they sell out just about every single away league game they didn't even come close to shifting all the tickets last night did they? If they did you had less than a 1000 in the crowd. Stop trying to make excuses for an embarrassing turnout....

The Sky excuse is gubbins, didn't you attract over 8,000 last year in the paint pot when it was on Sky?

People have given up, you should be worried.

The JP trophy turnout was probably down to it being their first ever tie in that Competition (I think).

Why should we be worried for attracting 4,500? It's more than we'll probably get all season, and we picked up about £100,000 from Sky. That's good enough for me. Let's see how it goes for the League Games.

You didn't attract 4,500. You had a couple of thousand home fans when it was your first home game of a new era, with a new team, with a new owner, and with a new manager. Wouldn't you expect a bit more interest? Do you honestly think more people will turn up on Saturday? I wouldn't be surprised if you had a sub 2,000 crowd.

To be honest yes I was expecting more, but like I say the fact the game was on Sky would have put a few people off. If we can average something similar to last season I'll be happy, especially when we're tipped to struggle.

It was 7891 2 seasons ago when we were getting better crowds, though Leeds brought more than the 2000 they brought last night.

I think the novelty of Leeds has worn off a bit, we just attracted our core support of around 2500 last night. I think crowds will be about the same as last season whatever happens this season, poor I know but Raj has budgeted for the minimum so anything more is a bonus

Raj has apparently done his sums and given us a much reduced realistic budget based on projected income reportedly about 500k. It's poor I know but it's a a case of feet on the ground and steady the ship time

How much extra would the stadium cost to run compared to Feethams? Nobody really knows.
It makes money through parking, corporate functions and weddings/parties etc and there was talk about regularly staging concerts. If Graham Fordy can even get us using the stadium to even half its potential it'll make not lose us money.

It's only used for footballing purposes 23 days a year we just need someone who knows what they're doing with the other 342 days this time

can darlo really exist on gates of 2,500 in that stadium though ?

2 owners have already tried and gone busto.

i dont hate darlo, i dont really think about them much to be honest, but i cant see how this isnt all gonna end with them going into admin again.

On one of those free days I'd have a christmas party......there you are, only another 341 to go.

Hope that helps
