Mine is from stevie wonders album 'songs in the key of life'

Ah duchess. Havent heard that in ages.

I have fairly recently heard its twin brother: If you tolerate this, then your children will be next by the Manics though.

I've had a good day..off work, and sorting stuff out. On this day in 1979, according to my Letts Diary, I bought "Duchess" by The Stranglers, so I've put it on and know what? It's STILL fookin' brilliant.

I've only heard/played one song today - my six year old boy asked for it; The Yeah Yeah Yeah's version of Sheena is a punk Rocker. Good choice for a six year old and better than his Power Rangers compilation.
Quite happy with Duchess but can think of twenty Stranglers songs I prefer...

oops edit.
I met a mate in Sunderland and his band are being sought after by loads of record companies - but are signing for the smallest company, Wichita.
He played me their latest recording, so my favourite track today is...
I Want You Back by Frankie and the Heartstrings

remember, you heard about them here first

The best song I've listened to today is 'Your Song' by Elton John. Now I know that all the musical experts on here will probably shoot it down. But for me it is an excellent song, apart from reminding me of an early flirtation when I had just joined the RAF.
