I sit in me classroom with a framed picture of H'gus (signed) behind me and on weds my world comes alive,,,Pool play at Coventry and I know no-one in the locality.....its just me !!

Many thanks Elvis, I tend to just turn up at Pool (Midlands) games and sort myself out,but it would be better to meet some one I "sort of" knew. Went to Peterborough last season and ended up being let into the Posh end as I turned up late !!!!

I sat in the leicester end last season (they won 1-0) I wore my Pool shirt in their end anyawy ! Lived in Leicester foe 5 years (near Birstall) hated the place.

Having taught in Coventry for a long time it seems there are quite a few pools supporters who actually live and work around Coventry.
i will be there on weds with my son who is travelling up fron London. A he was lthough born in Coventry,he is a poolie through and through due to his grandad and I taking him to Pools games rather than Highfield road. (pre Ricoh days)
