With Brown, Boyd, Austin, Humphreys, Clark, Larkin, & Rowell all looking to get in the side, yesterdays result was a fantastic start. It felt like a win.

I doubt it will shut the whinging bounders up on here, but who cares..........looking forward to next saturday more than I have done the first home game in years.

Thanks to EAD for the updates yesterday.....wish I had been there.

No matter what happens this season, CT has done what needed to be done, he deserves immense credit. And with a couple of more players still to arrive, if you arent happy with this squad, and arent excited to be part of it, you shouldnt be a poolie.

On another note, I noticed that some of you were laughing at Nelson, but slagged off those laughing at Robson. Hypocrites.

They both walked out after being offered new contracts. They both play for rivals in our division. They both deserve nothing but contempt and piss talking. I am still laughing at both of their efforts yesterday.

I know some of you would have preferred pools players to played like that, as it makes your lives better. Can I suggest you buy a season ticket at Brunton park.

Moving on. A very very pleasant sunday morning. Heres hoping for many more of them.

Well done pools.

That is all.

Whingers need not reply.

Thank you and good day.

Yes, CT obviously got things right yesterday from what people have said. Long may it continue.

Im just preying that Flinders turns out to be half decent. Credit to CT if he does. I have long been critical of CT's record of signing goalies. It makes such a difference to a side when the defence has confidence in the keeper.

That bit intrigued me like! You make it sound as if CT's mission statement for the 09/10 season was to avoid defeat at MK dons!

So if we fail to pick up another point from home this season, jobs a good 'un. confised

I don't remember Arni leaving after being offered a new contract, or being in the same division as us.
I don't remember him being a whinging damned bounder either, unlike Nelson, throwing transfer requests about and obviously not wanting to be at the club.

On topic, well done CT, early days and all that, but with 1 game down, I'm far more confident than I was this time yesterday. clappp

ADG - I don't know how you dare mention whingers with the amount that you have done over the years especially last season - but anyway I think most points I have read this weekend have been positive including yours, so there is no need for the digs and goading.......
