Overall, a shit ground, a shit pitch, a shit referee and a shit match.

BUT, a hardworking peformance.

To be honest, it was anyone's game because the pitch dictated the way things went. I was very suprised that Brown managed to pull off a shot of such quality for our goal considering the state of the pitch. The pitch caused players to make lots of mistakes. I also feel it may have been tactical as at half time they flattened the end Shrewsbury were shooting towards but not ours.

Shrewsbury's goal was coming from the second half. Ironically it came when we finally began to settle down.

Barker tried hard but didn't have the oppertunity to play his game. Brown, Nelson, Humphries and Clark were probably our best players. We struggled with our distribution, especially Barron.

Also, why is that fence there obstructing our view a tad. It's not like we're going to invade the pitch. Not the best ground I've been to.

I have never ever seen anything like that playing surface, I swear to God it had big piles of steaming cow shit on it at kick off!!

It made Feethams 2000 look like Wembley on Cup Final day...
