Rejected by Southend after a trial, is this the same Worley who was on Leicester's book's that we were supposedly interested in.

Rejected on the grounds that he lack's league experience according to Steve Tilson, manager of Southend.

I think it the same one (was at Stockport, & signed by Chelsea in 2005 - when was CT manager at Stockport?).

He's 6ft 4 - so his height would be useful, but do we need an inexperienced centre-half? Would be a decent squad player, and might mean Hartley playing as the regular left-back.

What a ridiculous reason to reject him, surely without a trial you could determine his level experience quite easily!!

He did play in a game for Southend against Dagenham and Redbridge. Tilson saying he hasn't played many games in his career and i feel we need someone with more experience, so he actually watched him, maybe it a polite way of Tilson saying he doesn't rate him.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he played in our reserves towards the back end of last season.

I've checked the Bible, and he did have a trial. Ah, well - must have made a good impression on me...
