The pub where the most away fans go to is called The Livingstone Arms down Gillingham Road. It's just a 5 minute walk or so to the Brian Moore Temporary Seating (longest temporary seating I've ever seen at a football club!) we'll be in.

It all depends whether you're a lager or a real ale man.

They might have some bottles of one of the brews from the local brewery down our way, Shepherd Neame in Faversham -either "Bishop's Finger" or "Spitfire".

If not, I'm sure they do any of the usual, Strongbow, Bulmer's, Foster's, John Smith's etc.

Victoria line Southbound from Kings Cross St. Pancras to Victoria.

Southeastern service from London Victoria to Ramsgate and Dover Priory.

If you catch a fast service, it only calls at Bromley South, Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham.

After you come out of Gillingham station, turn left and follow the signs to the Priestfield, you'll see the pub on your right soon enough. The walk will take 5-10 minutes.

Going back to the buying of tickets, i know it the first game of a new season , but for Pools to put......

"Pools fans are urged to buy in advance if possible as tickets on the day are only available at the gate 3 away cabin, WHERE LARGE QUEUES CAN OFTEN FORM."

That has to be the most OPTIMISTIC post on any site connected to Pools this close season. and possibly the funniest.

The game has been designated catergary B status - same as all their local rivals - why?
Do they think as it is first game of season we bring a few more down?

yes

I think historically we've always seemed to bring a good crowd down on the first day of the season to away games.
