Do people still sign up for this?

The bbc next season will be showing every goal for every football league club on there website, free of charge.

So how will pools wurld compete?

Or 'Pools Player' as it is now called....can't imagine they have many subscribers.

I'm sure a lot of exiles subscribe for the live commentary plus highlights and interviews. Last season they also ran quite a few extended highlights pices of up to 10 minutes of action. Its been possible to see all the goals on The Championship/Virgin over the last few years so the BBC coverage won't make much difference. The new player looks a bit faster and higher quality and works in firefox so look a good improvement.

We'll keep subscribing - looking forward to putting together a bit of a dvd when (if) they issue the match archive footage free of DRM. the match commentaries are worth the price alone, love them.

I've never used it since half of Hartlepool were on using Yubeps login!

Although it will probably be better watching the goals on the BBC website, I will probably still need the commentary live part of the package to listen to the games I can't get to.
