I like the lad and chatted to him at Wycombe when we went up. Garry Liddle has pace he just needs idiots to get off his back just like the hounded Matty Robson out, Garry Liddle's best position is next to a old fashioned stopper at Centre Half. He might turn out to be a pleasant surprise in this role just like Keith Nobbs was for a season!

It appears Ben Clarke is hero worshipped for punching Scotty - but Clark and Collins together are as quick as me and I am 48!

Ok I may know nowt about football and my level 2 badge is hardly UEFA pro licence, but at 5:30pm I am off with my lad and his Youth Football team coaching them in a Neale Cooper mould of get it down and pass and move!

Marks my words the last time Clark and another slow one, Nelse, played together at the back at this level we got relegated! Maybe thank you for a hernia!

Playing in midfield for most of the last two seasons, Gary Liddle has proved his best position is central defence. he goes backwards or round in circles too much to be a creative midfield player, but for his size he's a good defender.

Liddle looks like he could be quite a useful defender. Will be interesting how he gets on tonight.

I dont think we can judge people of tonights game if they play well they are a non league team we should not concede against them and have a comfortable win. If we dont win tonight and we play the majority of our starting Eleven tonight I for one will start panicing.

Wasn't he a centre back at boro and when he joined us (the greatest club ever). so perhaps like so many in the last seasons and pre-season he has been playing for the club out of position. I reckon he might be a good centre back, despite what I think are descidedly average showings as a midfield and right back player.

he's the worst midfielder at the club, so he should be tried in defence at least.
