I've just read on BBC 606 that Ritchie Jones has handed in a transfer request and had it accepted by the club.

Ive Heard that he's been frozen out by Turner and he's not in his plans for this season so he has asked for a transfer which has been accepted although he is gutted as he enjoyed playing for the club last season.

I promise you that he is. I hoped it wasnt true either but unfortunately everything i have posted is true. I know you get people saying all sort of rumours and crap saying reliable source because its not true but just because i cant name where its come from it doesnt mean that this is bullshit.

If he is officially transfer listed then it will appear on the PFA website.

yea im a bloke and im not too sure about the actual procedre with the PFA things but the transfer request has been accepted by the club a couple of days ago.

With the current midfield being the way it is and Jones probably been the best midfielder we have at the club at present I was wondering what everyone elses opinion is on this.

HTH.

Come on Chip, if the lad has asked to leave, Turners hand is being forced rather than it being his choice

As I said before he has been frozen out by Turner and does not feature in his plans so thats why he has asked for the transfer. He does want to play for the club.

he would be my first chouce midfielder out of him, sweeney & liddle, however if he's up for sale then we might get a nice little sum, enabling us to get a hard bastard and improving our midfield 10 fold.

where exactly has he been frozen out by Turner, he has played a part in all 3 pre-season games so far and played 36 out of the 46 league games last season, the majority of the ones he missed were through injury if i remember correctly

Like Chip said "There is no smoke..." and all that.

I will be gutted if he leaves. We are struggling to sign the decent players as it is, so to start losing current players is the last thing we want.

Say no more, not even a run out against York for Ritchie Jones.
So thats just over half a game so far in total. He is on his way out by the looks of it.
The club are keeping us all in the dark over this when they promised to have an open relationship with the fans.

Disappointing news especially given he is our best central midfielder and it is one of our problem positions at the moment.

He's on the bench so I don't think that necessarily equates to 'on his way out'

As for your last comment- stpid
