Top pic, Mr M. Me and Mrs A were talking about, and practising, some wrestling at the weekend. First we got talking about the British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith, and then my faves the Royal Brothers, Vic and Bert Faulkner.

I had so many happy hours watching World of Sport. And great memories of seeing Jackie Pallo and Adrian Street at the Town Hall in 1972-ish.

I liked Frank "The Reporter" Duffy. He wore a trenchcoat and a trilby which said "Press" on it. His specialist move was the "shorthand". He'd poke his opponent in the eye with his pen and then smack his face with his notebook. Class!

Went camping in France with Catweeasle the wrestler and his family... he was totally under the thumb and soft as a brush, lovely bloke. :laugh:

He did a belly splash on King kong Kirk , no joke..He went to hospital and died later,dodgy heart as well..
