Although there's no specific option for that.

they should at least give us season ticket holders some kind of discount.

To some extent it does depend on the quality of the opposition. If Man U or Chelsea were playing their first team then I would be happy to pay more than I would for a lesser game. But £13 to see Sheff Wed does seem to be excessive.

Even then they would probably just send their youth teams so i would still be a waste of money.

Like I said somewhere else, Sheff Wed are the last team I want to see.

if this poll is an accurate representation of all pools supporters then its a pretty damning verdict of the price of the friendly. If they reduced it to a tenner for adults they will probably double the attendance. Simple really!

Then maybe that's the answer eh??

1. Sign of goodwill from the club for continued support after two fairly tawdry seasons.

2. Nice sizeable crowd to welcome the new players.

3. Big crowds attract bigger crowds.

4. Bit of supporter/player mutual action at the outset, impress the new lads (particularly Neil Austin) with the atmosphere.

5. Bigger the crowd the more gets spent on beer/pies/liquorish laces/sorry we've run out of chips.

Surely worth the paltry few grand they'd get back on the gate??

Where's Simmo??
