I am not going at those prices.

The fact that I am away on holiday has nothing to do with it.

But it is a ridiculous rip off.

I am sure though someone will be on shortly to explain that it is the going rate etc etc.

Pools always do this, always charge too much and barely get anyone in.

Whats wrong with £10 and £5 for kids.

i shouldnt be getting angry over a friendly but after trying to build bridges with us it feels like they are having a laugh at us. I havent missed a single home game (friendlies included) for over 5 years and i intended to go to them this year too. But they can go fook themselves now.

I always enjoy the pre season games, but im going to give this one a miss sadx

Why not £10? I think thats reasonable for a glorified training session

£10 is overpriced too, but exceeding that breaks a mental barrier that puts people off.

the bairn will be going to see the new harry potter next week for less than it costs for her to go to this friendly.

at the end of the month its the stockton fringe thing which again is free of charge.

you would think they would have got the message with the attendances for the centenary debacle last year but clearly not.

epic fail imho.

To be honest pools are rubbish with attendance numbers they said the match the other night was watched by a large crowd from the pictures i can see it clearly wasnt

A decent crowd will be expected cos if we win it will finally erase the memory of cardiff back in 2005 and we will be eternally equal in every single way.

its games like this they should be enticing the kids or people who cant normally afford to come. Set the prices at a tenner an adult or maybe even 8 quid and show them what they could be missing. If new people like it then it might persuade them to come to more league games. for as passionate and determined the likes of russ green are, sometimes i wonder if they are a little 'special'.

Like chip says they are over valueing there product massivly, granted let's not under value it, but be realistic.

For the money it would cost to go there for 2 hours i could take the youngun out all day!

Do you think if enough people kick up a fuss either by emailing them or calling the club the price will come down. I can believe how stupid the club is at most they will get 500 so £6,500

why not like everyone is saying charge lower than £10 or even just £5, they would get around 1500 - 2000 there, so even at worst (£5) would get £10,000 so more money and a better atmosphere.

Bonkers.

Theirs no way I'm going now, I would have as well.

I'll be giving it a miss at £13.00.
At £9 or £10 I'd probably have gone. I know it's only the extra £3 or £4 I seem to be objecting to. However it's not that, it's about value for money. I think at £9 or £10 it's bordering on value for money. At £13 it's not value for money.

I agree with you,but to be fair Pools prices are normal league 1 prices so the fault is with footy in general rather than with Pools.

As far as £13 for a friendly is concerned thats 100% down to Pools & Im another one that wont be there.

Have you seen also to quote the website the "credit crunching prices for the corporate hosbitality" only £350 quid for 12 people including hot and cold buffet"

Or if a smaller group only £30 per person so you can cash in on a truly temping offer.

Credit crunching thats the biggest laugh I have had all day, tempting offer at £30 what planet are they living on?

I've just read the article about the Sheff Wed prices on the official site. They are boasting that they've REDUCED the prices to JUST £13?!

If 12 got together and paid £30 each for the corporate do, could they make it worth it by eating £17-worth each of dry sausage rolls, quiche, corned beef slices, pies cut in half and sarnies full of dry meat?

The way prices are going, makes me think that taking my lads in the 90's would be impossible now. They're Poolies now, no going back, but where's the next generation gonna come from at this rate.

Here's me thinking at last the club are starting to listen to the fans and try to win over those on the fence.

We will get the usual not our fault Sheff Wed are charging us etc, etc.

The admission price should have been thrashed out before agreeing to the game and if it was over a tenner bin them.

The poolymads not going now. sadx
