.... I honestly do not believe it is good business. I will not boo and I will support Mr Barker, but my reservation is Barker is about as fast as Jon Daly - where is Daly's future now.

Surely two big men up front is a retrograde step to our footballing principles. Sir Willie Boland will not sling up and unders into the box, he prefers diagonal movement and a clipped astute pass between centre rarf and full back.

He will be knonw as Barker - but if he scores a shed full then he will be known as Richie. However, good to read he is a model pro.

We've signed a proven goalscorer. You can't really ask for much more than that.

Two big men up front? I'd be disappointed as well if Daly plays alongside Barker. Hopefully Barker was bought to replace Daly.
Barker with Duffy
Barker with Brown
Barker with Foley
Barker with Porter
even Eifion as long as he has the game we know he's capable of
All those sound better than any team with Daly in it.

I honestly can't believe how people can't be happy about signing a proven, consistent goalscorer.

He's not the right partner for Jon Daly? So fuck. Get rid of the player who has scored less than 15 goals in 2 years then and replace him with our better forwards like Joel or Brownie.

You're right of course, but someone was allways gonna piss on the parade...like darlo specialise in 'overcapacity', hartlepool has a small body of people always ready to start looking for the negatives.
